Carol J. Grier

For more than 30 years, Carol J. Grier has been representing clients in connection with real estate, family law, and estate planning matters. With offices located in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, she serves clients throughout Chicago and the Northwest Suburbs.

After earning her A.A. from Cottey College and her B.S. from Kansas State University, Ms. Grier earned her J.D. from Northern Illinois University in 1983. She combines her 30+ years of experience and legal training, along with her commitment to client advocacy, to provide her clients with knowledgeable legal advice in a comfortable atmosphere.

Not only is Carol Grier an experienced lawyer, but she is also a dedicated member of the community. She has served on the Barrington Hills Plan Commission, the Barrington Hills Zoning Board of Appeals, and she is an active member of Willow Creek Church in South Barrington, Illinois. She is also a member of the following legal associations: Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), Northwest Suburban Bar Association, ISBA Real Estate Section, ISBA Family Law Section, Illinois Real Estate Lawyer’s Association, McHenry County Bar Association, and McHenry County Bar Association Family Law Section.

Additionally, several times a year she volunteers at the Cook County Courthouse in Rolling Meadows to serve as a court facilitator in divorce and paternity court, where she provides assistance to the judges and those parties who are unable to afford legal representation.
